Carpet Layer, Part-time or casual position

At Natural Floors, we bring homes to life with the beauty and elegance of natural fibre flooring. As a proud Australian family-owned business since 1988, we specialise in ethically sourced, sustainable, natural flooring solutions for Adelaide and South Australia.

We’re looking for passionate, detail-oriented individuals to join our dynamic carpet installation team and help us deliver outstanding results for our clients. If you take pride in craftsmanship, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and want to grow in a collaborative team where your work truly matters, this role is perfect for you!

    • Remove old flooring and prepare surfaces to lay natural fibre carpet replacements.

    • Cut and lay carpets with care, ensuring a flawless, professional finish.

    • Trim and edge carpets around obstacles, applying adhesives, underlays, and using tools like staple guns to meet the highest standards.

    • Work closely with our team and communicate with clients to ensure every project exceeds expectations.

    • Conduct inspections to confirm every piece of your work is completed to a high standard.

    • Proven experience as a Carpet Layer or similar role in flooring installation or the enthusiasm and commitment to learn a new trade.

    • A passion for detail and superior craftsmanship.

    • Physical stamina and the ability to work across various environments.

    • A problem-solving mindset coupled with a customer-focused attitude.

    • The ability to read and interpret house plans.

    • A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

    • Certification or training in flooring installation.

    • Experience with different carpet types and installation methods.

    • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices on-site.

Carpet Layer Assistant, Part-time or casual position

Natural Floors, a family-owned business specialising in stunning natural fibre flooring since 1988, is searching for a motivated and energetic individual to join our diverse and dynamic team in Newton.

 This is an exciting casual opportunity, offering 3 to 5 days per week, depending on your availability and our needs. You’ll be working closely with our skilled installation team, bringing beautiful, eco-friendly flooring into homes across South Australia. Along the way, you’ll stay active, build an in-demand skill set, and deliver high-quality craftsmanship that our clients love.

We welcome applicants from all walks of life, but please note that this is a physically active role. If you enjoy hands-on work and are open to traveling throughout South Australia, we’d love to hear from you.
